the commitment for global product quality and service at Whirlpool.
Shumar is a member of the Manchester
Who’s Who of Executive Leadership, a Senior Member of ASQ, on the advisory
boards of Oakland University-Pawley Institute of Lean and University North
Carolina Charlotte-School of Engineering and has been published in the Journal
of Quality and Reliability. She is a
certified auditor, certified lean instructor and trained in the discipline of
Six Sigma. In June of 2008, Debra
received the honor of being named Cambridge Who’s Who Entrepreneur of the Year
in Consulting for her company’s accomplishments, academic achievements,
